One of my favorite retreats is Pere Marquette Lodge north of Grafton Illinois. It's beautiful inside as well as outside. It was built in the 1930's by WPA workers during the depression to get people back to work. When inside, it almost gives me the feeling of being in a medieval castle with the heavy beams and stone. Our class assignment this week was to photograph architecture inside and out. To view all my shots click under assignments on Architecture.
Also if you'd like, check out other Architecture shots under other albums. Wynn
