MACRO

This week we were to do Macro Photography. I have had a macro lens for some time but never took the time to play with it. Learning the studio lighting last week really helped me with the close-ups. I set everything up like we did last week and played with the lighting. I was quite pleased with the results. I always think of flowers and insects when thinking of Macro but this late in the season I didn't know what I'd shoot. I went out and found some mums and a walnut, then a dead rose. Finally I got some jewelry and my African Violet. I added a few shots I did last summer. I really enjoyed doing this assignment

.P.S. Monday it got warm and we started getting ladybugs in our house. I took advantage of the situation and grabbed my camera. Got a few shots of the ladybugs before we threw them out. Then I took a walk around our farm and got some nature shots.
